Water flows generously everywhere and tends to make the ground slippery in the Kakuetta Gorge. When you’re well equipped in the mountains, you can better appreciate nature. Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes with good outsoles. Always check the weather before exploring. Stroller access is impossible, so bring a baby carrier. The Kakuetta Gorge is cool, even in summer, so keep a sweater handy in your backpack. Bring a picnic if you arrive early and plan to stay a few hours. Whatever happens, always take a bottle of water with you so you have something to drink. Please take care of the environment and bring a bag to dispose of your garbage. Helmets are available for the public at the site entrance.
