The campsite in the Basque Country has 169 pitches on a 2.5-hectare site, planted with trees and flowers, and promises a comfortable stay in the heart of nature for a vacation in the land of Espelette peppers.
Our offices are open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, and from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Our pitches are all equipped with 16A electricity, but we offer two packages to suit you during your vacation in Saint Jean de Luz. Youcan opt for the nature package without electricity connection or the comfort package with 16A electricity connection. A service area for motorhomes is also available if you book your camping holiday at Ferme Erromardie.

The pool area can be covered or uncovered, depending on the weather: whether you’re visiting out of season or on a rainy morning, you’ll find the ideal pool for a dip in the sea or a relaxing moment on a deckchair at our Pays Basque campsite with swimming pool.
Access to the water park is free of charge for both mobile home rentals and pitches. Numerous water games are available in the children’s paddling pool and heated swimming pool.

What to do during your stay in the Basque Country

The Basque coast: stretching 300 metres along the Atlantic between Biarritz and the Spanish border, the Basque coast is packed with sites to visit: you can head up to Bidart via the charming village of Guéthary, or down to the point de la Sainte-Barbe for incredible views over the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The trail continues on to the beautiful village of Urrugne and then on to Hendaye, passing through the port of Ciboure and the grounds of the Abbadia château-observatory. Close to the famous Rocher de la Vierge, the Musée de la Mer and the Rhune train, La Ferme Erromardie campsite is an ideal base for visiting the coast and the Basque country as a whole, as well as discovering the heritage of the Basque region! You’ll also be just 10 km from the Cité de l’Océan in Biarritz, the town of the Rocher de la Vierge, and 30 minutes from Bayonne in the province of Labourd.
Visiting the inland Basque Country: On holiday in the Basque Country at the 4-star La Ferme Erromardie campsite, you’ll be just 20 to 30 minutes from the typical Basque villages of the French Basque Country, such as Espelette, Cambo, Hasparren, Itxassou or Ascain and its famous Rhune train and Mauléon in Soule, about 1 hour from St-Jean-Pied-de-Port (capital of Basse-Navarre) at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains.
Going for a walk on the Spanish side: are you wondering how far our campsite is from the Spanish Basque Country? On holiday with us, you’ll be only 36km (about 35 minutes) from the old centre of San Sebastian, the capital of Guipuzcoa in Spain. You can also continue your discovery of the Basque Country by stopping off in other Spanish provinces and taking part in the famous festivals in Pamplona in Navarre, or by visiting the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the capital of the province of Vizcaya, not forgetting the province of Alava and its capital Vitoria-Gasteiz, a must-see in the Spanish Basque Country.

When should you go camping in the Basque Country?
If you’re more of a mountain hiker, you’ll want to come to the Basque Country between April and June to take advantage of the cooler climate. If you prefer the ocean side, summer is the ideal season, as the water temperature is ideal and the beaches are supervised only during the summer months. Finally, if you’d like to take advantage of family activities such as Basque pelota, you should know that the village festival season and its traditional activities start from February to October!
